Eric Ehlers: Vice Chair #1 and Head of Speaker Series SAMPE-LA / Program Manager-Canyon Composites

Eric Ehlers has over 45 years’ experience working in the Composites and Aerospace industries working at such companies as Goldsworthy Engineering (on automated composite fabrication equipment), HITCO (on ablator rocket nozzles), Hughes Satellite (on satellites), Northrop (on the B-2 Bomber), Reinhold Industries (on composite seat backs) and Canyon Composites (on composite satellite components).  

Also, Eric teaches Problem Solving Classes at local Colleges and other institutions. Eric makes presentations at SAMPE Meetings.  Currently, Eric serves a Program Manager/Engineer over satellite component fabrication at Canyon Composites in Anaheim, CA.  Plus, Eric has teamed up with Cerritos College to provide California State paid training courses to manufacturing companies.  In addition, Eric served as the SAMPE-Los Angeles Chapter Chairman for many years. He retired his post in May 2021, and fortunately for the Board, Eric continues to serve as a distinguished Board Member and Newsletter Editor.
