Alma Saiya is the Chair of the SAMPE-Los Angeles Chapter, effective May 2021. She joined as a Board Member in 2016 after attending her first SAMPE-LA Chapter meeting at UCLA. A native of Jakarta, Indonesia, Alma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and is a recent MBA graduate of the Pepperdine University Graziadio Business School. She sits on the Advisory Board for the UC Irvine Division of Continuing Education – Customer Service Certificate Program, and is a member of the SAMPE North America Finance Committee. Alma has a versatile background in Aerospace, Education and Public Health. She is a Sales and Contracts leader, passionate in ensuring that contract requirements and customer needs and expectations are met and exceeded on each project. Alma currently works as the OEM Customer Service Manager for the Aerospace division of Eaton Corporation. Alma thoroughly enjoys working with fellow Board Members who are seasoned Engineering leaders, being an activist alongside them to promote the field of Materials and Processes.
